No two trips to New Orleans are ever the same!  Each time we drive into the city the Lord prepares the way for us to love and serve in amazing ways.  We stay at a transitional housing facility for homeless women and children.  We are given the opportunity to love on these families and be an encouragement to them on their journey.  We do a lot of community outreach projects, such as food box deliveries, block parties, distributing school supplies and backpacks, etc, etc.  We often have the opportunity to go into the inner city schools and do character education assemblies filled with music, dancing, and encouragement.  We spend most of our time with the homeless community downtown.  We are focused on simply being a friend to those who may feel like no one cares.  We often take supplies to meet their immediate physical needs but the focus is to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ.  We understand that whatever we do to the least, we have done it to Jesus.  We treasure the friends we have on the street and we value all that they teach us about God and His Kingdom…we would love for you to join us on our next urban adventure into the heart of New Orleans.

 Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'  The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
