Our ministry is based in Northeast Georgia and God has provided us with a variety of opportunities right here at home. We have relationships with many local churches who we work with through speaking and sharing music during services as well as collaborating for community outreach events. Monthly we host Under The Lights, a youth outreach at Banks County High School focused on worship and fellowship. We also lead school assemblies focused on character building and simply having fun with the kids through music and dancing. Each year we host a women’s retreat to provide a time of fellowship and encouragement for the ladies in our area. We also host a Get Real gathering each summer to bring together all those who have been a part of our ministry throughout the year. We love getting to know our neighbors and we are always looking for new ways to love and serve them.
We are available to do a wide variety of mission training events, retreats, and camps. Here’s a description of what we have available for you and your church/fellowship group:
Missions 101 – This is a 4 week series of trainings we go through with you and your group focused learning how to reach out and serve those around you. We talk through a variety of subjects, explore our individual strengths and gifts, and then get some practical hands-on experience in your community. We are all learning together what it means to be a missionary wherever we are…
Get Real InTense – This is our GRIT training available for youth groups or families. This is a three time training usually spread out over a two-month time period which exposes you to all different types of missions. The first weekend is an overnight where we focus on the need to know Christ as our ultimate example of love and service. Then the group has the opportunity to follow in Christ’s example by working on a manual labor project at our camp facility. The second night is when we invite a local drug and alcohol rehab to come for a service at our cabin. The group serves a meal and leads in worship time for the visitors. The third and final weekend is another overnight trip. We take the group to downtown Atlanta where we love and serve the homeless community. We challenge the group that following Christ means going to be with people who are hurting and broken and bringing them a message of hope. GRIT is a life-changing opportunity for everyone involved!
Get Real Excursion – This is a new opportunity available to groups. We will lead your group through a weekend/week camp focused on loving God and loving others. Our staff will lead daily devotions and study groups on different topics and lead nightly times of worship. We will provide your group with adventure-packed days meant to challenge and encourage. We will give individuals in the group the opportunity to explore their gifts and serve in a variety of ways. We can design each camp to fit the needs of your group and to ensure you have a memorable experience here in the Northeast Georgia mountains!
